Learning @ the Speed of Download
Learning @ the Speed of Download!
The One-Pass Learning System Introduction
By: Lance Rennka, Ed.D.
I've said for years, "I want a plug installed so I can hook-up an external CD/DVD player to install data into my memory banks. Our brains are far superior to the crude computers we're creating and the computers can download. We need a way of gathering data quicker."
The Problem:
The Cost:
Technology is driving technological advancement. Resources times Technology = Abundance. Population times Consumption = Wealth. This trend is going to keep expanding!
Chang e is the only thing we can depend on. We must remain flexible and adaptable so we can move from one source of income to another - quickly.
The Solution:
In the 21st Century - the Information Age - we must learn faster, simpler, easier, better and tie the new knowledge and skills to life experience for better retention and retrieval. We need to be able to imbed into our memory banks more information, data, and skills to have it available to make better decisions, solve more problems and remain viable in an ever changing environment. Knowledge is Power. Lack of Knowledge is Lack of Power. Your choice - Powerful or Powerless - Survive or Perish!
One-Pass Learning System Mission Statement
Produce a Learning System which can be used by anyone to: expand, increase, enlarge, amplify, open-up, multiply and diversify how the human Brain takes in, processes, matrixes, retrieves and applies information/data to create wisdom - problem-solving - for the betterment of the whole human race and future of the planet.
Is that a big enough reason for its creation?
Discussion
Because of the Deluge of the Information Age, we must increase our capabilities of accessing Knowledge and Skill development. We are using less than 10% of our inherent and inherited brain capability. Our Brains are capable of DOWNLOAD and we've been taught and trained to learn only one way - the Legislated Compulsory Schooling way

The One-Pass Learning System Template allows you to take a 4 Unit - 40 hour course of study (pre-school to graduate school or job specific skills, it doesn't matter) push this course of study through the template and produce a two-hour DVD so someone with the prerequisite requirements can watch and listen to the course. The Learner can take "One-Pass" of just watching and listening to the material and it will produce a 90+% retention and retrieval of the information/data. That is 40 hours of instruction, homework, lectures, skills, etc. in just 2 hours with a much higher retention and retrieval rate. Plus over ten full textbooks worth of information downloaded into your cellular memory and matrixed with your existing data base.
The One-Pass Learning System Rationale
This is the 21st Century and we must begin to learn faster, simpler, easier, better or we're going to become obsolete.
Every 18 months computing Power of the computer chips is doubling and expected to continue into the future.
Every 18 months the cost of computing power is halving.
Every 18 months, on average, the work force needs training or re-training due to job tenure (length of time in a given job).
This is the Information Age and the volume of "information" is doubling every 18 months - exponential increase.
To just keep "even," we must be able to "download" information at a much faster rate than currently available, matrix the new information into our life experience and retrieve the information to problem solve and make wise decisions.
The Compulsory Educational Systems are at least 75 years "behind" and basically only teaching flawed history - much of which doesn't even apply today.
We're not utilizing our brain capability - it is obvious we're using less than 10% our inherent and inherited brain capability. Einstein said at his best he was only using six percent of his Brain's capability.
Current Reading Technology
We've been taught by the US Legislated, Compulsory Schooling System to read at an average of 200 words per minute at a maximum of about 25 percent retention.
An Evelyn Wood or Speed/Accelerated reading program can get us up to an average of 1,000 words per minute with a maximum of about 50 percent retention.
PhotoReading technology (http://www.learningstrategies.com/ ) will have you reading at 25,000 words per minute with 80+ percent retention. The faster the input, the better the Brain likes it and the easier it is to store the data in the memory banks and retrieve it to solve problems. This is still way too slow to help us catch up, let alone advance.
The One-Pass Learning System Template allows us to take a 4 Unit - 40 hour course of study (pre-school to graduate school or specific skills, it doesn't matter) push this course of study through the template and produce a two-hour DVD so someone with the prerequisite requirements to take the course can watch and listen to the course.
The One-Pass Learning System program is an interdisciplinary, integrated, problem solving program, which is tied to common life experience to insure the greatest degree of knowledge/skill transfer and retention into the future.
The Solution to the Deluge of the Information Age: We must be able to download material not take a course of study, read or listen to it if we are to step into the 21st Century learning: faster, simpler, easier and better.
